Per-Member Pricing: Meaning and What It Costs as You Grow
By Alva Chew · Updated
Definition Per-member pricing means the loyalty software price rises with the number of members you enrol, usually in tiers with a member cap. Your bill then grows as your programme works. Compare plans by the price at the member count you expect in a year, and look for a flat price with no member limit.
What is per-member pricing?
Per-member pricing is a way of charging for loyalty software in which the fee depends on how many members your programme has. Vendors rarely bill each person. They sell plans with a member cap, and you move to a dearer plan when you pass it.
The effect is the same for you. A programme that succeeds at signing people up costs more each month.
What do vendors charge?
These are plans from two vendors’ own pricing pages that state a member or customer limit.
| Vendor and plan | Price | Member or customer limit |
|---|---|---|
| Poket Pilot (1 store, billed yearly) | S$30 a month | Up to 1,000 members |
| Poket Premier (1 store, billed yearly) | S$48 a month | Up to 10,000 members |
| Poket Prime (1 store, billed yearly) | S$100 a month | Up to 20,000 members |
| Pixalink Premium (billed yearly) | RM380 a month | 10,000 customers |
| Pixalink Pro (billed yearly) | RM580 a month | 50,000 customers |
| Pixalink Elite (billed yearly) | RM960 a month | 100,000 customers |
Source: Poket pricing and Pixalink pricing, both checked 7 November 2026. Poket also lists lower caps on its monthly billing, and a Prestige plan by quote. Poket shows a second, higher figure beside each price without a clear label.
Reading the table, Poket’s price at 20,000 members is more than three times its price at 1,000. That ratio is our arithmetic from the listed yearly prices, S$100 against S$30.
What other limits raise the bill?
Members are one limit among several. Our earlier checks of vendor pages found plans priced per staff login (7Stamp Growth), per location (Loopy Loyalty) or with one location on every plan (Stamp Me). The pages on loyalty cost and per-location fees cover those.
How do you compare plans?
- Estimate members at 12 months. The enrolment rate tells you how fast sign-ups come.
- Note each vendor’s price at that number, and at double it.
- Add the outlets and staff logins you need.
- Check whether billing is yearly or monthly, since caps can differ.
How Gimify fits
Gimify has no per-member fees. The free plan covers one outlet with unlimited members, and Unlimited outlets costs US$99 a month flat. The free loyalty app guide compares the free options.
Questions owners ask
What is per-member pricing?
A pricing model where the loyalty software fee depends on how many members or customers your programme holds. It usually comes as plans with a cap on members, and a higher plan when you pass the cap.
Is a member cap the same as per-member pricing?
Close to it. A cap does not charge per person, but it forces an upgrade at a set member count, so cost still rises with membership.
What other limits can raise a loyalty bill?
Locations, staff logins and message sends. 7Stamp, for example, prices its Growth plan per login, and Loopy Loyalty prices by number of locations.
How do I compare plans fairly?
Estimate your members in 12 months, then list the price each vendor charges at that number. Add any extra locations or logins you need.
Does Gimify charge per member?
No. There are no per-member or per-location fees, and the free plan has unlimited members for one outlet.
